Sweet Abel is looking for a new home! We (FFOCAS) are helping his extended family find his forever home. This loving boy wants nothing more than to be a companion in a quiet, loving, responsible indoor setting.

Abel loves to hang out on the couch with his people, watching TV. He'll head butt you affectionately and enjoys a few gentle head-pets, though be warned: the belly is a no-go zone. ;-)

Abel seems to prefer to take life at a slower pace, always making time for long afternoon naps and observing nature from his window perch. He's a truly unique kitty who will bring so much love and humor to his forever family!

Abel's human "mom" passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in June. Abel has been very resilient throughout the recent loss and upheaval in his life. With several strangers tramping through the apartment after his mom’s passing, Abel hid sometimes but then, overcome by curiosity -- or a need to connect -- he would bravely venture out, seeking affection and interaction. :-)

Abel has been in "foster care" with family members since June, and the ONLY reason he is not being adopted by this family is his fear of other animals. With the help of an cat behavior consultant, we have determined that Abel should be the only pet in his home.
