Aiyana

Aiyana is a gorgeous 80 pound girl with a nice plush pelt and lovely black and silver coloring that needs to be rehomed because the owners are unable to care for her in the manner she deserves.

At 10 years old, Aiyana says, "age is just a number!" In fact, one of her favorite things to do is go jogging alongside her bicycling pal 2+ miles every day! She also loves leisurely strolls and relaxing at home.

Aiyana is a social girl who loves people and will never pass up an opportunity to lean in for pets.

She insists that she has never met a stranger! This girl has not lived with children so we think she would be better suited in a home with children 11 years old and older.

Aiyana wasn't fortunate enough to experience the company of other dogs and is unsure how to act around them.

She also exhibits a prey drive.

As a result, Aiyana might be best as an only pet.

Aiyana is in our Save Old Shepherds (SOS) program which means GSRNC will cover routine and ordinary veterinary expenses for the rest of the dog's life! Aiyana has a condition called pancreatitis but it is well controlled with medication.

The SOS program is aimed to help dogs like Aiyana find the loving forever homes they deserve! The types of expenses paid for are: annual vet visit vaccinations prescription pain medication euthanasia medical treatment for illness or conditions resulting from illness (e.g.
