Hi! Meet Althea, a 10 years young Husky.

Althea is a golden girl, found at the shelter in rough shape and downtrodden.

It took two baths to get her clean, we expect she’s lived outside most of her life.

Though it looked as if her spirit was broken, just giving her a little tenderness instantly let her light shine through.

It became evident how special this sweet girl was.

She is a gentle granny who is in love with children, cats & dogs.

She’d be the perfect Nana! Her favorite things are sleeping, cuddling & short walks.

Althea is a beautiful elderly dog, looking for a home to rest her head and achy bones to live out her golden years.

A yard isn’t necessary, and no stairs would be a plus.

She has common ailments that come with age, but is a champ at taking her supplements.

She’s a mellow lady who wants to love and be loved in return.

There truly is nothing like the love of an older dog.
