Meet Alvin
Born around August of 2022, Alvin is a male husky/staffy mix (best guess). He is a medium sized dog, about 40 lbs. Good with kids, adults, and dogs.
This quirky guy is a total social butterfly, wanting to be around his people at all times. He enjoys playing and wrestling with his foster dog siblings, but seems to love people the most! His ideal home would include lots of snuggling, treats for training, and warm cozy places.
At just over a year old, Alvin is a typical young dog with puppy energy. After being adopted to a family that didn't continue his crate training, Alvin was returned to the rescue to find a new home. We are looking for an adopter who is willing to put in the time to continue his crate training and provide appropriate chew toys and outlets for the energy that a young dog has. He is a dog that will thrive with an established household routine that includes some daily exercise opportunities.
Adoption ready: he is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, sleeps all night, crate trained, and potty trained.
At the rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. We are 100% foster based and rely on volunteers and fosters to help in our mission. Our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED.
Adoption fee: $450-$550. Adopters may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option to your local area for an additional delivery surcharge of $250.
We will choose the most suitable home for each dog, not the first application received.
If the dog you are applying for is adopted, we have good matchmakers that will help you find your perfect new four-legged family member.
Since the dogs that come up are rescues, not much is known about them. Therefore breed and adult sizes are our best guesses and we cannot guarantee this information is accurate.
