Andrew

Andrew is just a big bundle of love and kisses! He has the sweetest disposition once comfortable with you - you would never know that just a few months ago, he was out on his own with a broken leg, fending off coyotes when Suzette Hall of Logan's Legacy rescued him from that life.

He has had FHO surgery on his back left leg, it's healing quite well and he has made great strides! He is learning to trust his mending leg and is improving everyday.

We are helping him with massage, exercise, and lots of beach walks - the soft sand and uneven terrain encourages use of his leg.

We have no idea how long he was injured but he will need continued support from his adopter to regain strength in his leg.

He would do best in a home with older children.

Andrew is house trained and gets along well with our 2 smaller dogs but is leery of strange dogs on walks.

He loves car rides, laying in the grass, chewing on bones, and hanging out with you on the couch for scratches and snuggles.

He can be playful but we still need to be careful for his healing leg.

Andrew weighs approximately 65 pounds and is about 2-3 years old.

He has been neutered and vaccinated - will be microchipped upon adoption.
