Meet Angelus
Angelus is the cutest pup that came to us as a stray. He was dirty, covered in fleas, and so scared. He just wanted to curl up in our laps. During his time with us, Angelus has proven to be such a HUGE sweetheart and is a facility favorite! He loves everyone he meets and gives the best kisses! He loves butt rubs and thinks he is a big lap dog! He is dog friendly and is not a barker.
This chunky hunk of burning love is looking for a place to call home. He has the most adorable face and spots on his tiny ears! This sweet boy is everything you’d ever want in a dog. He lacked confidence on a leash at first but now he is confident and loves his walks! He is such a quick study, loves to learn and please you! He knows several basic commands and would learn any other commands/tricks you are willing to teach him.
He absolutely LOVES to play ball and with toys. He did fantastic when he was cat tested. He’s housetrained and has learned how to use the doggy door. He is an 3-year-old, 65-pound absolute ANGEL is fantastic with all dog sizes. He is even polite and submissive around bossy little dogs!
This handsome guy is so much fun! He loves to play, play, play! He gets the cutest zoomies! But don’t let that fool you! He is the best guy to hang out on the couch and watch movies!! He loves attention and affection. He is crate trained and willing go in when you ask him “go lay down” and does not whine when he is in there.
His foster mom works from home and says he’s the quietest, well behaved, polite guy ever! He did well with children at an adoption event, however, because of his size and energy level he would probably be best with older children.
He was born in 2019 and located at our rescue facility in Justin.

Our dogs & cats are fostered in Texas but are available for adoption in Northern States. With stops in Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho.
These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.
Our out of state adoption fee is $600, which includes the transport cost. We will deliver your new dog to you at a partnering Petco location so it is safe. This fee includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, a 24Petwatch registered microchip, testing for heartworm and tick-born diseases, and a fecal analysis. Dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.
This fee helps us save other abandoned animals here in Texas where there is huge number of homeless and abandoned pets.
As an Apollo direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
