Animal Allies
Mission
Animal Allies is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of companion animals in northern Virginia since 1984.
We are an entirely volunteer run, humane organization ensuring as many cats and kittens get out of the streets and into their forever families as possible! We have chapters in Woodbridge, Stafford, and Alexandria which support communities in the surrounding area.
We promote spaying and neutering as an important part of responsible pet ownership, and support trapping, altering, vaccinating and returning feral cats as a humane alternative for community cats who cannot be socialized. Animal Allies continues to promote the inherent value and humane treatment of all animals, ecological values, and wildlife preservation.
Adoption Policy
To apply to meet them please fill out our application form.
Our cats and kittens are fostered in the Woodbridge, Stafford, and Alexandria areas. Once your application is reviewed we will set up a meet and greet with the kitties you are interested in!
If you decide to take them home, we will have you fill out a legal contract which includes a spay/neuter agreement if applicable (though our kitties will already be fixed in most cases).
Once the kitties are happily settled, you will be asked to pay a donation fee that helps cover the medical care the pet(s) received under our rescue including spaying/neutering, leukemia/FIV testing, and any age-dependent distemper and rabies shots.
