Meet Argus

Like many Great Pyrenees types, Argus wasn't a fan of being in the shelter. He was anxious and worried about new people and had to learn about walking on leash and getting into a routine. Along came a foster for Argus and that changed a lot of things for him. Argus is living with a couple and their 8+ year old son. He's going on lots of hiking adventures and has done well co-walking with other calm dogs and has met some livestock. They've discovered that Argus loves to play, he especially loves to play keep away and be chased. He enjoys playing in water and sniffing along the trails.

Argus also has been super cuddly with them and enjoys sprawling out on their king-sized bed. Did I mention he's a big guy? We think Argus would do well with a calm family who has plenty of space for him to explore.
