Hi there! My name is Arlo and I'm a 5 year old, neutered male pit bull that currently weighs about 44lbs.

I'm a timid boy that's still learning about the great big world.

I would do best with a family that has experience with dogs that are still working on impulse control and sharing.

I hope to be a proper gentleman so I'll need plenty of training.

I'm a sweet boy that already knows sit and absolutely adores all the treats which will definitely help with my continued training.

I walk well on leash and happily stay close to my handler.

After exercising, I like to flop over in my person's arms for kisses and cuddles.

P.S.

Kongs are the best thing in the world, especially if they have some peanut butter in them! I love the spotlight so I prefer to be the only pet in the household.

Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions:
11 am - 5 pm, 7 days a week
Adoptions will be done on a first come, first served basis.

Please note for walk-ins, if the animal you are interested in has other appointments, he/she may not be available for you to meet.

The adoptions process can take a minimum of 1 hour.

You must be 18 or older to adopt.

If you prefer to set up an appointment, please submit your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to and an adoption counselor will call you make an appointment to meet in person.

Please note at this time we are doing adoptions by appointments only.

Interested adopters must arrive at least 1 hour before close.

We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can't guarantee every animal you see is still available.

It's also typical for us to have animals who haven't had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor.

Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
