Asher, white, is a 8/9ish months Red Heeler mix female.
She is spayed, utd on her shots and microchipped.
Asher is the sweetest, friendliest and affectionate puppy.
She currently lives in a pack of eight dogs of all sizes and loves everyone, good with kittys as well.
Also loves all people although not tested with kids.
She is housebroken but does have access to the outside 24/7 and as with most foster puppies is likely to have a few accidents when she moves.
She is also crate trained.
Asher would do better with another friendly dog, although enough play dates with other dogs would work as well.
Asher came into the shelter with her littermate Snoopy, light brown, also a female.
Spayed, utd on her shots and microchipped.
They are a bonded pair but have become more independent since in foster care but will be adopted separately if necessary.
Snoopy is very shy, although much, much better than when she first came in a couple of months ago.
She feels most comfortable with me when she is on the couch or bed, at that point she’s a cuddle girl.
While on the ground she is more careful, although that is starting to change, I can now pet her and she will come up to me, big progress.
Snoopy loves the other dogs and is good with kitty, she is always happy to see new people but will only come to them when they are seated, preferably on the couch.
She is house broken but as with Asher has outside access 24/7.
She eats in her crate but will get out if I try to close the door so I’m leaving open right now.
Snoopy just needs time and needs someone willing to move at her speed.
She is sweet and affectionate.
She does like to herd me a little and will try to grab my ankles, not a good habit and I stop her when she does it, mostly at mealtimes.
She is very scared of riding in the car and I have not pushed it yet.
Working on leash manners with both pups.
If placed without Asher, another young and playful dog in the home will be required.
The pair of them are active and love to play with each other, the other dogs and with toys! However, they will settle nicely in the house.
Asher and Snoopy are in foster care in Santa Fe NM.
