Meet Azula
We are still getting to know Azula at the shelter. What we can say is that she was a part of a difficult living situation that included 15+ cats, and a few dogs. She cohabitated with many different cats, so she would be okay living with another feline friend in the home. She loves her other previous feline housemates; cuddling with them and squishing together in the same space. She was also around dogs, but because she is shy and timid, it would be best if she was in a home with a calm and relaxed dog compared to a home with a loud and energetic dog. Azula is a nice cat, her gorgeous orange and fluffy fur is sure to attract anyone to her. Please treat her with kindness and patience. Respect her personal boundaries and please do not attempt to pick Azula up, no matter how tempting it may be. Offer your hand for her to smell and speak to her in a calm and gentle voice. If she doesn't want to be pet, please move your hand away. This fluffy girl just needs time and patience as well as proper care and love to fully trust people once again. A quiet and peaceful home would be the best environment for a cat like Azula. We look forward to getting to know Azula's personality more during her stay at the Humane Society. If you want to get to know her more as well, come by to visit her during our open hours!
