Hello, my name is Baby.

I'm a 10 year old, 87 lbs., spayed, German Shepherd! I'm looking for a loving family that is prepared to pamper me during my senior years! I'm a people social, mellow lady but can be a bit nervous with new people.

Once I warm up my happy go lucky personality really shines through.

My favorite thing in the world is hanging out with lovely humans! I love getting pets and sitting by your feet, I do best with adults and teens but am honestly good around almost all ages.

I love meeting doggies while on walks, but I'm a little older now and not a good playmate.

I would do best as the only dog in the home or one with calm pups that understand my senior needs.

I'd love to meet your entire family, including any resident dogs, prior to getting adopted! For more information, just ask Customer Service.

I recently went on a field trip with one of my favorite volunteers, this is what they had to say:
'She hopped up into the car without hesitation and seemed so ready to go for a ride.

We went for a walk around my neighborhood/local park, where she enjoyed lots of sniffing and watching other people and dogs.

We also hung out in the yard, where we sat in the sun and she enjoyed getting brushed.

Just such a lovely girl.

She has a good amount of energy for a 10 (almost 11?) year old shepherd.

She was respectful of strangers, respectful of space in the car, and just overall such a sweetheart.'

Please note at this time we are doing adoptions by appointments only.

Interested adopters must arrive at least 1 hour before close.

We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can't guarantee every animal you see is still available.

It's also typical for us to have animals who haven't had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor.

Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
