Bandit is the perfect combination of sweet and shy that makes your heart melt.
While his pictures make him look big, he is actually a pocket sized rottweiler at a little under 50 pounds.
He loves his trusted humans unconditionally and wants to shadow you whenever he can.
Bandit loves playing with rope toys and balls.
He is crate-trained and fully house-trained.
He is moderate energy, so while he enjoys his walks and play time he also loves some time laying and taking a nap by your feet.
He is learning really quickly in foster care to do things like sit, lay down, be a gentleman, and wait.
Bandit has lived with small dogs, adult men, and adult women and has done well with all.
He does take a moment to warm up to new people, sounds, and places but generally his reaction to these new scary things is to cower a little.
Once he has warmed up, he loves to give his new friends kisses and cuddles.
Bandit is always happy to see his humans when they come home and gives you all smiles.
It is truly heartwarming to be part of his journey and to see his growth as a fearful dog.
Bandit has been failed multiple times and was almost euthanized at Stanislaus Animal Services due to overcrowding and because everyone would pass right by this scared boy shaking in his kennel.
Bandit deserves his forever family.
