Due to Covid-19 and border patrol restrictions, you'll be required to cross the border and meet in Blaine, WA to receive your pup :) Our adoption application can be found at the bottom of this pet's bio.
Once your application has been approved, we can arrange a virtual meet & greet with you and Baxter! Baxter is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up! Meet Baxter! Baxter is a 2 year old male, pitbull mix.
He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and ready to find a family of his own! Baxter was dumped in the middle of nowhere in South Texas with his companion, Zoey, for several days.
No food or water, they were starving.
They were both very scared, but once they did not feel threatened, they came to us and the rest is history! Baxter's energy level is very playful.
He loves to run, jump and gets super excited when he see rabbits and squirrels.
When meeting new people or animals I try my best to be calm but I get so excited! I prefer being by myself, but if I do hang out with other dogs it has to be a slow introduction and I prefer female dogs.
I don’t really like small dogs or cats.
I would prefer a home with older children.
Little kids tend to scare me with their fast movements.
I have been near them and I'm not mean, I just try to avoid them.
I do well on a leash and enjoy my walks.
I’m ok seeing other dogs or people but I might get excited and pull to get closer or back away if the other dog is barking a lot.
I really don’t bark and usually just let out some squeaks when I’m excited.
I also enjoy running around so I would do well with a fenced in yard.
I love playing with my toys and lounging around.
I also love car rides and enjoy looking out the window and feeling the air in my face.
I also like to just chill and enjoy the ride.
I am fully potty trained and crate trained! I usually spend my time outside sun bathing.
I would love a yard where I can sunbathe, but that isn't completely necessary! I know basic commands like sit, stay, wait and no.
My foster mom says I’m such a smart boy because I catch on quickly doing stuff and a gentlemen because I sit for my treats and take them so sweetly from her hand.
