Beavis and Tommy's Personalities

Beavis and Tommy are adorable brothers. Tommy is the leader of this duo whereas Beavis is happy to follow his brother's lead. They love to run around, play and explore then snuggle with their foster parents. These boys are bonded and need to be adopted together.

Beavis (orange tabby, short-haired) is very affectionate and always in the mood for petting and cuddling with his foster parents. This boy is also very playful and loves romping around with his brother, Tommy. Beavis can be a little timid in new situations, but warms up quickly as soon as he gets his bearings. He also depends on his more confident brother, Tommy, and doesn't like to be separated from him.

Tommy (black, medium-haired) is very outgoing, energetic and curious. He loves to run around and play with his brother, Beavis. Tommy is not shy when it comes to other cats - he approaches them with ease and just wants to play. He's doesn't always understand that other cats, including Beavis, might not be as energetic and in need of interaction as he wants. So he needs plenty of interaction with humans as well - dedicated playtime and affection.

What Type of Home They Need

Beavis and Tommy need a relatively quiet forever home with caretakers who understand they will need a little time to adapt to new people in a new home. They need a home with adults only or a home with an older cat-savvy child would be fine as well. No babies or young children, or dogs, in the future.

Where They Came From

Beavis and Tommy were born outdoors and lived their first few months in a colony of cats being cared for in someone's backyard. They came into SPCA's care with their two sisters, Frances and Chicha, and their mom, Florence (all adopted).PLEASE NOTE: we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA.
