Bedford County Animal Control
Mission
Bedford County Animal Control is an open admission animal control facility operated by Bedford County government in Shelbyville, TN. BCAC provides animal control and animal sheltering services for the residents of Bedford County, TN (outside Shelbyville, TN city limits). Adoptions are avaibale to the general public regardless of place of residence. We also invite 501c3 animal rescue organizations to become BCAC rescue partners, in our never ending effort to find forever homes for as many companion animals as possible.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is quick and simple. Currently, we accept cash and checks for the adoption fee (there are nearby banks with ATM's).
Dogs are $65.00
Cats are $45.00
All adoptions include spay/ neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, annual vaccines (DA2PP, bordatella, FVRCP, etc.), and deworming.
