BENNA Female, Rottweiler mix, 10.5 years old, 87lbs Meet Benna! This big sweetheart has found herself in need of a new home after her guardian passed away unexpectedly.

Although she has been through a lot recently, Benna is able to maintain a positive attitude, so much so that she has turned into the official "lobby dog" here at the shelter.

This duty entails greeting all the shelter visitors and bringing smiles to their faces as they walk through our doors.

Benna is quick to receive full body rub downs, she loves playing with her toys, having a good chew session, and going on longs walks with volunteers.

Benna loves all people of every age.

However, she is not the biggest fan of other dogs and cats.

She's more of an "only child" type of pet, but responds well to: "Leave it," and "Let's go!" Benna is the best companion you could ask for.

She wants to run and play with you just as much as she wants to cuddle.

She's a big treat girl and will melt you with her "puppy dog eyes" to get a bite of whatever snack you have.

She's basically perfect.
