Meet Benny

At only a year old Benny has a sad tale to tell. He came to us from a puppy mill. He was not sold as a puppy so the miller kept him in a cage for a year deciding if he would use him for breeding. He eventually decided against that and called us.
Having not experienced kindness in the first year of his life Benny is very timid and shy. He is not house broken, hasn't walked on a leash before, and has no idea what it is like to be a dog.
Benny needs to be adopted by a patient family. Someone who will love him and help him figure out freedom. Benny will NEED TO GO TO A HOME WITH ANOTHER CONFIDENT DOG to be an example for him. And he REQUIRES NEED A FENCED IN YARD.
While Benny is not aggressive we think small children will be too frightening for him. So older kids only.
