Meet Bentley
Bentley has had a super tough life, yet he is still a happy, happy guy. He has the most amazing, fun loving, enthusiastic, joyous personality despite the horrible neglect he has suffered.
Bentley was adopted from a city shelter (Summer 2020), then dumped on the street (October 2020), then picked up by a horrific rescue (Jan 2021) that just moved him from one crappy boarding facility to another. Then the rescue stopped paying for the boarding fees, and Bentley was dumped in another city shelter (October 2022) for 5 months, and finally pulled by some good Samaritans yet he was again returned to boarding for another 6 months. Finally, Houston Huts 4 Mutts welcomed into our home and promised we would find him a family. He has been a joy at all the boarding facilities and many of the shelter staff are still following and praying for his happy ever after.
*While at one of the boarding facility, and twice at the city shelter, he was attacked by other aggressive dogs so he is dog friendly BUT he would do best if with other dogs that do not jump on him or play to rough. He is good with dogs that are chill. He loves to go for walks, loves the outdoors and would be a great hiking partner. HE IS GREAT IN A CAR!
The idea family would be active, but also enjoys sitting on the couch snuggling with Bentley.
He walks great on a leash. House and crate trained. No separation anxiety. Quiet. Rides good in a car. Very healthy.
