Looking for her forever gnome....
Named after Betsey Johnson for her wild hair, our Betsey is the perfect combination of spunk, sweetness, and sass! Originally saved from the euthanasia list at Maricopa County, this funky pooch was underweight, sick with kennel cough, and covered in mats when she was first rescued.
Worse yet, she was terrified of the world around her… Truth be told, we actually didn’t realize she had a tail until a couple days after we brought her home because she kept it so tightly tucked against her body.
Although she still takes some time to adjust and has handling sensitivities, the Betsey we know today is a MUCH different dog.
While she’s not quite as outgoing as the real Betsey Johnson, our Betsey does indeed appreciate the company of humans and dogs alike, especially those on the mild end of the spectrum! We’d love to see her go to a home with a calmer male dog and patient owners who match her laid back energy.
When she’s not fishing for attention from her people or doggie friends, you can catch her laying in the sun watching the clouds go bye or laying on the couch gnawing a good bone.
AND, if she’s feeling frisky, you just might see her get the “zoomies” every once in a while, too!
