Big Max

Lovable Big Max ?

Many may remember Big Max.

Max came from the same home as the Maltipoo family of 11 (6-8 week old pups, 3-9 month old pups and mom and dad) who we rescued last fall.

The owner was terminally ill and he asked us one last favor, to please take in his beloved Max when he was no longer here.

When Max first came to us he was shut down, his whole life had been turned upside down and he was alone in the yard when we went to get him.

He was defensive and unsure of the new people in his yard..

Since his rescue we have gone slow and given him the space he needed to blossom.

Big Max has come out of his shell since being neutered and given the time and patience here at the rescue.

He is truly a love bug, and so loyal, as his owner had shared he loved about him the most.

Big Max is a loyal companion and is looking for a new two-legged best friend.

He lived with other small dogs previously and we believe he could live with another canine friend again.
