Bilberry and his siblings were surrendered to us after their mama had an unwanted litter of puppies.
Unfortunately, this is very common where we rescue.
Their mama is staying with her owner and has been spayed to prevent anymore unwanted puppies.
We were able to get Bilberry safe and warm before the cold weather we had last week.
He had been living outdoors unsheltered and likely would not have survived.
Bilberry is timid and shy when meeting new people.
He is very quiet and well mannered.
He has done great with every dog in foster home, and he does well with cats too.
He is crated trained and house trained.
He is learning to walk on a leash and is getting better everyday.
Bilberry’s mama weighs 55 pounds so we think he’ll be large sized when he is full grown.
His mama is a Shepherd mix, but we don’t know anything about the daddy dog.
He has been neutered, vaccinated twice for DHPP, bordetella vaccinated, rabies vaccinated, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention.
He will arrive in the PNW on 3/23.
