Meet BILLIE EYELASH
WE ARE BIG FANS OF BILLIE EYELASH
This 4 year-old mini-Schnauzer’s super long eyelashes are the envy of everyone. Billie’s one blue eye, one brown eye are a conversation piece; each eye evoking a different side of his personality. Billie was pretty timid when first rescued from a breeding facility as his socialization with humans was limited. His patient foster mom has worked hard and took the time to help Billie become an adoptable dog. He is now housetrained (on pee pads and outdoors), overjoyed to go on walks, now aces stairs and craves snuggling on the sofa. He has mastered zoomies and play bows, especially when mealtime is at hand.
Billie loves all dogs and seems to be very blasé around the cats he has met. Although he isn’t the first to initiate play with the others in his foster home, he feels safe and has gained confidence following their routine and having them near. Still apprehensive in new situations, Billie responds well when people allow him to come around on his terms. Although not treat motivated when learning new things, he responds well to repetitive praise and encouragement.
Billie requires a quiet, patient, adult family, preferably experienced with timid, puppy mill dogs and who will let Billie progress at his own pace. Dog savvy kids 14+ could be OK. No condos or apartments as Schnauzers have a rep. of being vocal. After all, they were originally bred to be guards on farms. If a swimming pool it must be fenced separately. People with a flexible schedule who are home part of the day is a must.
Billie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and weighs 12 lbs.
