Meet Billy
Billy is a 5 mo mix of some sort (hound maybe), rescued with his sister (who has since been adopted) from a shelter in New Mexico. He is such a goofy boy- LOVES the water and mud. He'll be that dog that lies down in the middle of a mud puddle while out hiking or play in the baby pool or his water dish, if you let him! He is a pro at sleeping in his crate all night, but still working on potty training. Billy does pretty good with access to outside and a dog door. He is very active when he's wound up and gets the zoomies (totally uncoordinated with big feet he can't control!) and then crashes like a typical puppy and naps.

Billy already knows how to sit and leave it. He's hilarious to watch chase the miller moths that inevitably find their way into the house, and he also loves to chase and eat ice cubes. He protects his food, so should be fed separately, but we are working on that in the foster home and he's making progress. He's gonna be a big boy, and has a big, sweet, silly personality to go with it. Billy can be a teensy bit shy, for about 5 minutes, then he's ready to be your buddy! He will do well in any active home, especially with another fur buddy to play with and a yard to run around in. He can't wait to be your new best friend!
