Bingo was his name-o. Bingo transitioned from the Bajan shelter life to now living in a Toronto condo in foster care. Talk about transitions. Sometimes a dog can go from having nothing to having all the things accessible to them and they get well, overjoyed and attached. Bingo is that kind of guy. He loves his main handler and likes going for strolls together or hanging around inside under their desk for naps while they work. He whines a bit when he goes into his crate, but will eventually settle for a snooze. He can be a stubborn guy and does best with someone who doesn’t fall for the ole’ just 5 more minutes of family time or the constant ask to keep to the forest trial walks that may prevent you for getting other things done. Cause he will take hours of ‘more’ if you let him.
We see Bingo doing best in a home with a handler that is dedicated to showing him the ropes. He’s a small dog but can push boundaries. He will need structure around new people to continue to open up, gain confidence and learn the routine of his new fam. He’s best with no kids, has had shared space with cats with strict supervision, and he may do well with another dog that is confident or well-established in the home.
