Mission
The Bisbee Animal Shelter needs volunteers!
We can always use help walking dogs, socializing cats, cleaning the cat room, taking photos for Petfinder and social media, bringing animals to adoption events, fostering animals, fundraising, and more!
To become a volunteer, please fill out an application at the Bisbee Animal Shelter, 938 Tovreaville Rd.
Adoption Policy
We ask that you meet the animal in person to help insure that it's a good match for both of you. Â Then you will need to fill out an application, with at least 3 personal references and a vet reference. Â We usually approve or deny the adoption within 24 to 48 hours. Our adoptions are not first come first served, but are based on what is the best fit for the animal and potential pet parent. We may receive multiple applications for the same animal.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens is $60 which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and microchip registration. If the kitten is too young to receive a rabies vaccination, we will arrange a vet appointment for the adopter to take kitten to at a later time.
The adoption fee for dogs is $75 which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and microchip registration. The adoption fee for puppies is $100 which also includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and microchip registration. If the puppy is too young to receive a rabies vaccination, we will arrange a vet appointment for the adopter to take the puppy to at a later time.
