PERSONALITY TRAITS:

Bishop is a friendly, mellow kind of guy that has become a favorite of shelter staff and volunteers. He enjoys attention and loves being loved on. He has been in the shelter for a year with no adoption interest. Staff and volunteers cannot understand why that is. His only negative behavior is he can get reactive when another excitable dog is around but is easily redirected. When he is in the vicinity of other dogs of all breeds/sizes he ignores them. He shows no resource guarding behavior in his kennel and is a perfect gentleman when in his kennel. Of course, Bishop would benefit greatly from a round of fear-free positive reinforcement training classes. They would help him brush up on his basic commands and learn some new tricks for you to wow your friends with when you show him off! With a proper introduction Bishop could possibly live with another dog.
