Meet Blair Bear

Blair Bear, 1 years old, spayed female, Shepherd/Retriever mix, 40 pounds. She is in a foster home in San Antonio, TEXAS and can transport to an approved adopter. Please note, she is physically located in the state of Texas.

This adorable young pup was found wandering in a neighborhood when one of our fosters found her. She shares a home with several other dogs and does great. She does enjoy playing and will let another dog know when she is done playing. She is excited when seeing other dogs on leash.

She has met the cats in the home and wants to chase after them. She has also been around teenagers and did really well. We recommend a home with kids 10 years and older who understand and respect pet's boundaries.

Blair walks well on leash and likes to lead. She is VERY smart and quickly picked up sit and the "place" command. She is house broken and does okay in the crate. If crated for long periods of time she will bark. She has no issues with her food and will usually check out her foster siblings bowls to see if they left anything. She is able to share toys too.

She is an energetic dog who is looking for a moderately active home. She would do well with another dog who is playful. If no other dog in the home, she will need weekly physical outlets/stimulation. She does great running and trail walks. She would do awesome with an outdoor lifestyle!
