Meet Blaire

Blaire, 3.5 years old, spayed female, Pitbull/Cattle dog mix, 55 pounds. She is located in San Antonio, Texas and can transport to an approved adopter. Please note she is physically located in Texas. We will set up a video chat with her foster home for a virtual meet and greet.

It's hard to not fall in love with this sweet and silly girl! We have her listed as Pitbull/Cattle dog mix, but definitely think her personality is more Pittie. She has some features of a cattle dog, but does not have any behaviors. There is no herding or ankle biting traits.

Blaire has met lots of other dogs and does really great with everyone she meets. She has a really nice temperament. Her foster mom describes her as a "lazy player." She likes to lay on her back and have the other dog play around her. We think she would do great with another dog in the home or would be okay as the only dog.

She makes this really funny "squeal" noise when she is really excited. Her foster mom had been away for a few days, so when she went to see Blaire she let out this funny sound out of excitement. She is generally quiet when playing with other dogs, so the squeal only comes up when she is really happy!

She is moderate energy. She likes to go on a walks, but does not need a lot of activity. We think she is a little overweight and could lose a few pounds :) She does great when crated and is housebroken.

We have no history with cats. There are kids ages 2 & 4 in the home and she LOVES them. She is very gentle and sweet. We think she would do great in a home with kids of any age. We always recommend a home with kids who understand and respect animal boundaries.

Blaire does pretty well when walking on leash. She will pull to check things out, but generally stays close. She rides great in the car! She is VERY affectionate and loves all the cuddles you give her. She is always smiling!

Blaire is just one of the sweetest dogs. She is always happy. She takes treats gentle and waits her turn if other dogs are getting treats too.
