Blake is a gentle Greyhound, based at our Old Windsor centre, who enjoys attention from people.

Blake's favourite thing is food and he is always on the look out for a tasty treat, and will sniff around to try to find some food. He might be a bit of a counter surfer in his home and owners might need to keep food out of reach.

Blake has not lived in a home previously and so will need to get used to all the different sights and sounds that this entails and he will not know what is expected of him. He will need all basic training such as housetraining, and getting used to being left alone at home. He travels well in the car and quite enjoys settling down for a snooze. He often keeps us company in one of our offices and he loves to go round and greet everyone, and then stretch out for a sleep on his bed. He's incredibly friendly, and will wag his tail when people walk past him.

Blake is playful with toys and will carry them around in his mouth. With other dogs, Blake will happily greet them but is not a fan of very enthusiastic dogs. He has shared space with a steady female Greyhound and may be able to live with a similar dog in his new home.

He may be able to live with teenagers in his new home. He has an adorable character that will only develop further as he settles in and gets to know his owners.
