My name is Blaze.
I am a neutered male, brown brindle and white Staffordshire Terrier.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jan 04, 2024.
Blaze originally came to the shelter as a stray, so we didn’t know anything about his history. But since no one came forward to claim him, we neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and adopted him out. Unfortunately he was brought back after a few weeks because he wasn’t fully housebroken, and was too destructive in the home. His adopters mentioned that he was friendly and playful with people, and walked fine when on a leash, but when he wasn’t supervised he would chew and destroy things around the house, including shoes, and they didn’t have the physical capacity to train him.
We think this sweet boy deserves a second chance, so we’re looking for someone with the time and patience to work with him, and get him the proper training he needs to really thrive in a home environment.
Please only consider adopting if you have the time and resources devote to him.
If you think your home would be a suitable fit for Blaze, and are interested in giving him a chance, please submit an application for review.
