Meet Bona
Meet Bona, a resilient soul with an incredible journey from being a pregnant stray to finding hope in a shelter. Bona gave birth to her puppies and luckily, all of whom found loving homes in Korea. However, Bona faced an uncertain fate, grappling with depression and a heartbreaking solitude..
Initially a bit shy, Bona warms up swiftly, especially when treats are involved. She is incredibly easy to handle, loving being held, lifted, and carried, finding comfort in the gentle touch of caring hands. Bona's interactions with other dogs are marked by gentleness and a readiness to play. While she gets along with dogs of all sizes and ages, she prefers a more calm demeanor, not quite at ease with overly hyper dogs.
Balancing a moderate energy level, Bona thrives in outdoor activities but transforms into a calm and composed companion indoors. During walks, she may pull slightly due to excitement but quickly redirects her focus to the handler. Bona doesn't display resource guarding tendencies toward people or fellow dogs.
While she currently doesn't exhibit separation anxiety, Bona's strong bonds with dogs and people suggest a possibility of attachment-related anxiety. She is crate trained and adapting to the concept of car rides, overcoming initial car sickness with exposure and time.
