Meet Brooke, a young female cattledog mix about 22 weeks old we rescued from the Kern County shelter in Bakersfield.
Brooke is a nice friendly dog, pretty mellow for a young puppy, is hanging with another cattledog female, Lucy Lou, who was her kennel mate at the shelter.
Brooke is now living in foster care and is getting to know the many dogs living there and we are getting to know Brooke.
She is vaccinated and microchipped and is set to be spayed June 14th.
Once she has been spayed, Brooke will be ready to go to her new home.
She is not fully grown yet but will be medium size, probably about lbs.
She will be a busy active girl, best in an active home with someone home or another dog to hang with, experienced dog owners and no small children.
She is a sweet friendly girl and we know just the right home is out there waiting for her.
Perhaps it will be your's.
If you are interested in meeting Brooke, please email us at , tell us of your interest in Brooke, and we will send you an adoption application to be completed and emailed back.
Once the completed application is returned, and if it looks like Brooke might be a good addition to your family, arrangements can be made to set up a "meet and greet" and see how everyone gets along.
Brooke has not had the best life so far but we know her luck has certainly changed for the better and it can only improve from here.
