Brownie (approx 3 1/2yrs) was so shy at first, we didn't know who lived inside that cowering little body until we discovered that she can be picked up and snuggled at times. Her fur is super soft. She is one of three cats that we have held in a foster home while their person was being treated in the hospital. Unfortunately, his condition has not improved so it is time to find her a new home. She is the shyest of the three but when she is comfortable, she will flop down on the floor or stretch out on the highest perch of a scratching tree and will ask for some attention. Brownie loves to sleep beside the other two cats but she is a bit intimidated by them, waiting to eat until they are both done. We are torn about what is best for her, the familiarity of the cats that she knows and loves or a chance to break free and come into her own. Based on a couple of brief one on one sessions alone with the foster, we think that she may shine as a single cat of a devoted patient person in a calm home.
