Bruce is looking for a loving home where he can enjoy lots of cuddles, have nice walks and do lots of fun training. Due to his size and strength, he will need a home with children aged 14 years and over and he would be best suited to a home where any other dogs in his home are a similar size with a bouncy play style like his. If he is the only dog in his home, he could have walking friends when out and about. He cannot live with cats or small furries. Bruce is lovely to train and knows a few basics. He is a big boy who can be strong on his lead, so adopters will need to be able to manage this on his walks and work on his loose lead training. He was housetrained in his previous home and will need regular access to a private garden with minimum 6 foot high fencing to keep him safe and secure. Bruce can cope with an hour or two on his own, especially if he is given something to keep him occupied, like a filled kong or licki mat, but this will need to be introduced gradually and built up slowly once he has settled in to his new environment. Bruce will need to meet his adopters multiple times to build a strong bond prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying
Bruce is a big, beautiful, bouncy 3 year old Italian Corso Dog who has come to us through no fault of his own after a change in his owners circumstances. This guy is just a big hunk of love that just wants attention and affection. Adopters will need to prepare themselves to have a little part of Bruce with them wherever they go because this boy is one big slobber chops! A big fan of outdoor adventures, he loves his sniffy walks and enjoys a big run around our secure field. He is a friendly lad who does sweet wiggles when meeting new people and once he is your pal he adores fusses leaning in to get as close as possible. He is a gorgeous big boy who will fill you heart and home with love and will very likely take up the entire sofa for big snuggly cuddles in the evening!
