COURTESY POST - Please contact Claire below Although you would never know it by meeting this Angel of a dog, the day we rescued Buddy we walked on to the scene as we witnessed Buddy being kicked in the head by his owner for whining because he was baking in the sun on a 6 inch chain.

Him along with 2 other pups were all sitting in their own urine and feces on 6 inch chains in the sun thirsty and tired from the life they had been forced to live.

Out of the 3 pups we rescued that day Buddy was in the worst condition.

Although he’s still only around 2 years old, his fur was missing from prolonged exposure to fleas and his skin sun burnt from being forced to sit in the sun with his pearly white skin.

We quickly got all of the pups to safety and Buddy got medical attention asap.

Luckily all of his medical was superficial and would heal in time with medication.

Since we’ve rescued Buddy some of the things we’ve learned about him include that he’s a 40 Lb lap dog, he LOVES cats! LOVES dogs! LOVES all humans big and small! Buddy’s favorite sleep on his back with all paws directly up in the air, he’s equal parts happy taking a romp around the neighborhood or snuggling with his human while watching Netflix.

We’re shocked that this perfect pup was living such a horrible life but we’re determined to make sure his second chance at life is a dream come true.
