Meet Buddy

BUDDY is a 6 to 7-year-old terrier, who was found as a stray but never claimed by his owners. He spent a couple of years with his finder but due to his resource guarding – mainly with food, and his favorite people – he was turned over to us. Buddy was prescribed a lot of different medications for anxiety which we are weaning him off of to work on the root of the problem. We agree with the vet's assessment that Buddy needs his RDA of exercise, mental stimulation and training/boundaries. We are looking for an active home, ideally one where he could go to work with his people and get lots and lots of walking. Although he looks like a Yorkie he has more of the personality of a Jack Russell terrier. Buddy is active and athletic, approximately 20 pounds. Buddy has been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for Heartworms and is microchipped.
