Buddy ll and his sister Chloe came to Safe Haven recently after their owner was no longer able to take care of them. These beautiful, long haired cats were adopted from us 10 years ago as kittens and have been together ever since, with a third cat, Nikki. Buddy ll and Chloe are bonded and will be adopted together, but Nikki can be a solo cat.
The two siblings are extra large cats and extra adorable. They are very shy right now, but both have a history of being friendly and playful. All three kitties are very confused in their new situation and haven't quite adjusted to the drastic change in their lives. Each can be picked up (although it's a bit of a struggle with 20 pounds of Buddy ll) and brushed, and there is no sign of any aggression or intolerance of people.
They are healthy, but do need to lose some weight so they will maintain good health and become more active and playful. Buddy ll and Chloe will do best in a quiet home where they can adjust to another new environment, and return to being friendly and affectionate lap cats.
