Meet this precious soul, Callie!

Sweet Callie came to Battersea as a stray with another dog. Sadly we have no history for her first year of life prior to Battersea.

Since coming in, Callie has shown to be a very worried, nervous soul, that has found kennel life very scary. When she first came in, she was quite avoidant of handling and reluctant to leave her kennel. She has been very sound sensitive and has generally just been very overwhelmed by the kennel experience.

She is still worried of new people, places and other dogs however, we are seeing some really sweet elements of her warming up. She has given a few people some tail wags and has even play bowed at a person in a paddock!

Callie is going to need a home in a quiet location. She will need her own garden to help exposure her to the outdoors in a safe and controlled space. Callie would like some calm and friendly walking buddies to socialise with and boost her confidence around interacting with dogs. New owners will need to be very patient and understanding of Callie's worries, expanding her world slowly and prepared to put in lots of work to boost her confidence.
