Meet Cameron, a charming 3-month-old Cairn Terrier mix weighing in at a dainty 5 pounds.

Found as a stray alongside a possible litter mate, Ferris, Cameron’s early days were filled with uncertainty.

Rescued from the streets, it became evident that the busting Maricopa County shelter was overwhelming for this timid pup.

He was fearful and inclined to hide from well-intentioned staff and visitors.

Home Fur Good recognized his need for a smaller environment and stepped in to provide an environment where Cameron could find solace and support.

Since his arrival, Cameron has started to blossom.

The smaller setting of Home Fur Good has proven to be less stressful for him, allowing his true personality to shine through.

Though initially reserved, Cameron is slowly warming up to people, showing signs of trust and even enjoying the company of our director as she reads to him in her office.

Since this sweet pup gets his confidence from being around other dogs, Cameron must go into a home that already has a dog.

He must have a canine companion.

As Cameron continues to gain trust and build connections, he awaits his forever family who will provide him with the patience, understanding, and love he deserves.

Cameron’s adoption fee is $300 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.

Adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment by calling .
