Meet Cash!! It is hard to put into words what Cash, his sibling Tango and his mama, Chili, had endured prior to crossing our path.
Volunteers were in the area in preparation for our community free spay and neuter clinic.
A kind man approached us and shared a story of a mama dog and her puppies that were living in an abandoned house.
There used to be eight puppies, now there are two and the mama.
He explained that for the last several months, he would arrive before the sun, and leave the dogs fresh water and food.
He was worried about the dogs and was eager to see if we could help.
When we arrived at the property, our hearts dropped as the property was filth and the dogs were literally surviving day to day.
We are grateful that another rescue took Mama and she is doing so well.
Cash has made gigantic progress in foster.
He romps with multiple dogs and has become more confident with each passing day.
When Cash meets new people, he will come up to you, at his own pace, and he likes to be able to sniff your hand and then he will enjoy pets and attention.
There is no doubt that Cash will make the most wonderful companion.
He is so sweet, so just needs a home that has a quiet routine that will allow him to continue to gain confidence.
We believe cash is about nine months, and he almost looks great dane-ish.
His mama is a sweet, sweet brindle pit mix and we do not know the father.
Cash is in a foster home that has a lot of other dogs and he does just fine.
He has never met a cat but we do think with proper introduction, he will be fine.
He is a sweet, sweet boy who had a hard start in life and is on his way to being the perfect companion.
