Meet Cha-Cha
Meet Cha Cha! Cha Cha is a female, 4 month old, Border Collie blend. She is 10 pounds and growing!
Cha Cha arrived at the shelter through the police department. Cha Cha and her siblings were living in deplorable conditions. The puppies lived in a very small wire crate outdoors, no food or water seen. They arrived extremely emaciated, dehydrated, and absolutely covered in feces. Feces was caked on their fur and we had to scrub it off. The puppies were so thirsty they were drinking the dirty water that was coming off of them while bathing them. All of the pups had scabs/kennel sores on paw pads and back legs. Cha Cha and her siblings have been through some really tough times. We have cared for and loved these puppies for the past while. They are so sweet, fun, playful, and lovable! They would greatly benefit from a loving and caring forever home that can give them plenty of love, enrichment, exercise, and playtime! Cha Cha is ALL puppy, so plan on investing time into her basic fear-free positive reinforcement training. She can't wait to go home!
Cha Cha will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We do not know how she will do with cats.
Cha Cha is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and ready to go home today!
The shelter is currently open by appointment only. Fill out an application to schedule an appointment today!
