Hi! My name is Chata(16), and I'm a sweet, young, large-sized dog with short, brown hair.
I've already been dewormed, vaccinated and spayed through the adoption program.
I arrived alone to a house in the outskirts of the city, so my now caretakers suspect someone went out there to abandon me.
It was very hot and I was extremely skinny.
I was a bit suspicious of humans at the beginning, so I only went near these people when there was food involved.
My caretakers noticed that I would sometimes grab the food and leave, until one day I returned with two other small dogs: my puppies.
One night, some teenagers intentionally hit me with a car.
I was taken to the vet and they took care of my injury, fortunately it wasn't too bad.
By that point, my caretakers decided to let us inside their home so we would be free of the dangers of the street.
I currently live both indoors and outdoors, although I prefer to be outside to observe the people the walk by.
I love to spend my time barking at people to protect my temporary home and jumping in front of the fence (I'm actually very good at jumping!).
I live alongside other large dogs.
I'm very protective of my food (probably because of everything I've been through), so it's important to place my food in a different place from the rest of the dogs so that there's no issue.
I love to lay down and rest, especially when the floor is wet.
I hope to find a loving and responsible family that will take good care of me!
