Meet Chester
Chester is a 7 to 8-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound who was recently rescued from a neglectful home in Georgia. He was sadly nearly starved to death, so he really loves his food now. He loves both people and other dogs, but he needs to be the only dog in his home because of his food aggression.
Chester is a true hound and keeps his nose to the ground sniffing for a good scent. He walks well on a leash (pulls a little) and loves to ‘load up’ in the car. He will need daily exercise and a securely fenced yard. Chester does have heart worms, a disease common in the southeast, but this can be treated! We will cover the cost of treatment. Chester is a very sweet boy who deserves a second chance in life after a pretty rough start.
Due to his high prey drive, we don't recommend a home with kitty siblings. Let us know if you'd like to learn more about Chester!
