3 1/2 year old, Male ( GSD) Our big handsome boy, also known as Ches, Uncle Chester, or Handsome Man has been with us for a while now! He holds a special place in the hearts of his volunteer family, all of whom are puzzled he hasn't found his forever family.

Chester's big smile lights up any room, and his sweet, goofy nature brings so much joy to all of us that we can't imagine the joy he'll bring to the lucky humans who get to make him a part of their family forever! Chester is big, strong and energetic, so he can be a handful, but he loves to please his people so we know he'll thrive with someone who will reinforce his training.

Continued training is a must for this breed, so be ready to put his mind to work.

He will do best with a strong handler with an understanding and patient heart.

He does best with similarly sized female dogs - such a ladies' man.

We don't know how he'll do with small dogs or cats so we think it's best to stick with bigger furry friends.

Chester will be happiest with an active family who will make him a part of their lives and activities.

Walks, hiking and ball are all on his short list of activities.

He is such a special boy with so much love to give and we can't wait to see him finally find the home he's been searching for.
