the only dog in the home and no other pets as he does have a chase drive for cats/birds. Chippers new owners will need to work on his dog socialisation skills as has growled when uncomfortable. Experience with Bullbreeds is essential and he can be quiet strong on lead and will need ongoing training in his new home. Chipper would need to be on lead in public due to his dog socialisation skills and would benefit from going to a secure off lead field regularly to burn some energy. (We have sought expert advice and we do not believe that Chipper would be considered an American Bully XL type).
Is Chipper right for you?
Chipper is a 2 year old American Bulldog who was returned to us through no fault of his own. He can be left alone for short periods of time, built up slowly over time once settled in his new home. He is a super smart cookie, loves his food but can be a bit snatchy with treats. He does rip up soft toys and he loves Nyla bones and hard chews. Travels well in the car. His frustation levels build up quickly he needs lots of physical and mental stimulation. Super sweet boy loves a cuddle, fuss and loves to curl up on a sofa.
