Hiya! I am Chiqui the Shepherd mix (HWTH#A).
I was born on 9/9/ and I weigh about 50 lbs.
I was relinquished to Halfway to Home because my owner moved away and could not take me with him.
My world was turned upside down, and initially I was very insecure around strangers.
The rescue people here have been spending a lot of time with me, taking me for walks and building up my confidence.
I also have a new friend Carter (HWTH#A) who has helped me feel more comfortable here.
The last photo shows me playing with him.
Thanks to their efforts, I am starting to trust and I am ready to find a forever home.
I am young and smart, and I will learn quickly and bond with an owner dedicated to continuing my obedience training.
I have lived with large dogs so I may do well in a home with other dogs.
I don't know how I would be with children.
I need a big fenced backyard to run and play, and I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities.
I would make a great traveling and exercise buddy.
With time and patience I know I will make a loyal and devoted member of the family.
To learn more about me, please call (this is a landline phone).
I will be here waiting to meet you!
