Meet Choco!

My name is Choco. My previous owner wasn’t very nice to me. He used me as a bait dog in a fighting ring and I just don’t understand why he didn’t want to love on me, and I got boo boos instead. I’ve kept my head up though and am a happy guy… who ever said nice guys finish last. I have a lot of energy because I’m just so happy to be out of that situation and start my healing. I’m super smart too, foster mom was really surprised when I learned the doggie door in 1 day. I didn’t want to be separate from her and my buddy Jax (11yr old dog). I love my toys and to play tug with other four leggers.

I’m looking for my forever pack, and I like other dogs (med/lg) and love my humans. I’ve never hung out with tiny humans though, so I Dunno bout them or the other meow makers. (Good with other dogs and people, not food aggressive, unknown with children or cats).

I’m starting school with the other dogs this week. My foster mom says I need to learn “manerz”… but I’ve never been to school before, so maybe I’ll get to meet some new friends.
