Meet Cindy

Meet Cindy, an adorable Bearded Collie dog. What is a Bearded Collie you ask? Essentially, a Border Collie with a beard, see how we did that? Cindy is almost 2-years old. She weighs about 40-lbs and is spayed and vaccinated. Cindy is house- and crate-trained.

Like most herding breeds, Cindy is extremely smart. She has some commands and tricks in her bag that she would be willing to share with you if you ask. She's eager to learn many more too, the sky's the limit with a clever girl dogo like her. Cindy loves to go for car rides. At night she sleeps on her dog bed but is known to climb up on the bed to snuggle and sleep there too.

Cindy is affectionate and super sweet with people. She has never been around small children but she does get nervous in certain situations so a mellow, fairly quiet home will be the best place for her. But quiet and mellow doesn't mean sedentary. Cindy will thrive in an active home that will include her in all their indoor and outside activities, She currently lives with other dogs, cats, chickens, and horses and loves to be a part of the large pack as her foster family moves through their day.

Cindy gets along with other dogs and loves to play and be a buddy. She can be somewhat snarky with them though if she has to "share" her person too much. Cindy does get anxious in strange situations and around dogs she doesn't know. Someone who will continue her training and socialization to help her gain confidence would be ideal. We know this will work because she has already improved and gotten better with positive reinforcement training.

NO APARTMENTS/TOWNHOMES/CONDOS. For Cindy we are looking for a rural, outdoor side home with lots of space and activities. Cindy is located in Newport, Washington.
