I'm Clyde! I am a magnificent, mellow Mastiff! I am large in stature, and even larger in my capacity to love, and in my loyalty to those I choose as mine.

During my first year, I have learned commands of sit, come, and down.

It's important for me to have manners, as my size can be overwhelming without them.

I am coming along on my leash skills, and know to do my business outside.

I have lived successfully with cats, small dogs, and kids.

Once again, due to my age and size, I appreciate slow introductions to children and strangers (so that they aren't accidentally bowled over).

I am best with female dogs, if they are larger.

Male dogs are sometimes perceived as a challenge that may be trying to claim my people and/or new toys.

I spend a good portion of my day sleeping, and relish cuddling closely with my bonded person.

I can always be coaxed into a good play session, a walk, new adventure experience, or car ride.

Overall, I am a happy, playful, loving boy who is protective of those I cherish.

I am looking to connect with someone who will give me the opportunity to fulfill my role as loyal companion and protector.
